The happiness of life

How can you evaluate your present life? Is it on the top of the ladder or on the bottom? This question was given to the citizens of 145 different countries. They were asked to mark the good life with 10 and the worse with 0. As you can guess the answers were very different. So can we distinguish the reasons of their answers?
Iceland, according to data, was the happiest country. Moreover, in the beginning of the rating were Denmark, Columbia, Switzerland and Mexico. In my opinion, Iceland, Denmark and Switzerland can be added to one group. These countries have excellent economy and cultural level. They are not involved in war actions and do not have to deal with serious problems. Moreover, most of the citizens can afford their needs and have free time. Also, Columbia and Mexico also can be grouped to one side – hot weather, slow life rhythm give much more happiness than a lack of sun. On the other hand, countries in Africa such as Tanzania, Chad and Togo evaluated their life by very small grades. It is obvious, people there have to suffer famine, there are spread many dangerous diseases and they have no medicine to heal all of the citizens. Although, life there is hundred times worse than in Lithuania, we do not feel happy. Of course, the salaries are very small; some of us can not find a job. We can not be sure about our future, what is very important.
Despite all these facts, we must to learn how to take from life everything what it gives. Happiness comes not from the setting, but from our hearts.
